Is it worth every penny? Yes.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley said, in what I believe was a Teen Vogue interview in days of yore (remember print Teen Vogue? Those were the days), that she loved having Tom Ford lipsticks on her vanity. My twelve-year-old eyes were opened to the world of cosmetics for display, heirloom worthy objects worthy of a coveted spot on the dresser or makeup table. There I go again, anthropomorphizing cosmetics.

I think my pre-teen self would be ecstatic to know that future Sasha would get to be made up by Julie Cusson, Chanel makeup artist and one of two people whom I trust with my face. The occasion, you ask? To showcase Chanel’s own heirloom-worthy lipstick, 31 Le Rouge Cambon.
